More Than 6000 Santa Cruz PG&E Customers Without Power
According to the utility, power went out for 5,950 customers around 1:45 p.m.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — More than 5,000 PG&E customers are without power Thursday, but crews are working to have them back online by evening. According to the utility, power went out for 5,950 customers around 1:45 p.m. Crews are troubleshooting the issue and expect to have power restored by 5:15 p.m.
Another 280 customers near Shangri La Estates have been offline since shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday. PG&E said the outage was caused by an equipment problem and power is expected back on around 8:22 p.m.
UPDATE: Power was restored to all customers ahead of the anticipated times.
