Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Santa Cruz County Crash

The crash occurred after a motorcyclist tried to illegally cross double yellow lines to pass a car.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A San Francisco motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday when he illegally crossed double yellow lines to cross a Honda Pilot, the California Highway Patrol said.

The Honda made a left turn as the motorcyclist, 26, tried to pass the car while driving on Highway 1, south of upper Swanton Road, CHP said. The biker hit the car and was seriously hurt.
