Why when I was asked to blog about the National American Miss , people I have talked to about sponsorship think my mom allows tons of make up and yuckie stuff. NAM is about poise , confidence and natural beauty. Make up is not allowed! When my mom and I blogged the first time. We got no response. Well iam a hard working 11 year old who suffers from a rare bone disease, had seven major surgeries in four years, but yet give so much time in doin thing I love to do. Saveourshores, feed the homeless thru New Life Community services and raise money for animal shelter. I get upset that I came home in July with a crown officially representing Santa Cruz , although did not win title of California I still came home a winner. This pageant gave me a whole new experience besides Standford Childrens Hospital. Although I am a shy quite girl I get upset when my mom is told that most people dont support pageants because of reputations of pageants. This IS NOT true with NAM so there is my blog today.
