Since 2014, the Coastal Watershed Council and the City, County and members of the San Lorenzo River Alliance have been working to address bacteria levels in the San Lorenzo River. The Alliance uses water quality monitoring to identify where bacteria is coming from in our watershed and inform best practices to reduce future bacterial deposition.
