Naturalist Night: Explore the Milky Way

Join us for a tour of our galactic home by attending this talk and stargazing event.

From the dusty lanes of the disk to the bright stellar nurseries, from the supermassive black hole at the heart of the Galaxy to the most distant and oldest stars, Emily will take us on a tour of our galactic home, and explain what the Milky Way teaches us about all galaxies in the universe. In the event of clear skies, the second hour of the program will include a short drive up to the UCSC campus for guided stargazing. Program is appropriate for ages 8+. Featured speaker: Emily Cunningham.
