Officers Hid In Bushes To Stop Break-In, Police Say
Police said they hid in the bushes to catch the men.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Two men were arrested after police hid in the bushes of a gas station to stop their break-in, Santa Cruz Police Chief Andrew Mills said on Twitter Thursday morning.
The men smashed in the glass of one of the double doors and left, Mills said. Police arrived to check out the scene and hid, waiting for the men to come back after they thought officers had left the scene.
The men returned and were detained, Mills said. Officers stayed to sweep up the broken glass.
