Pair Found With $102K In Illegal Drugs Inside SCC Hotel Room
Allison Nault and Paul Garcia were both taken into custody Monday.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Two people were arrested Monday at a hotel in the 1700 block of Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz County after being found with more than $102,000 worth of illegal drugs in their possession, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office reported.
Allison Nault and Paul Garcia were both taken into custody after their hotel room was searched and detectives found 3.75 pounds of narcotics including methamphetamine, heroin, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, and over 200 pills, the sheriff's office reported. Nault was on probation and Garcia had a warrant for his arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
The duo was also found with a loaded .40 caliber handgun and $9,000 in cash, the sheriff's office reported.
