PSA: Remember Seniors In Care Facilities
The Family Service Agency of the Central Coast is encouraging residents to write letters to patients in facilities not accepting visitors.
Press release from The Family Service Agency of the Central Coast:
Sept. 2, 2020
Most care facilities aren’t allowing visitors or family members to come into their facilities right now. One way to reduce some of the loneliness and isolation the residents feel is to send a “Thinking of You” card. Most people like to receive mail, and this will be a way to help brighten their day and let them know they’re remembered.

Some ideas are cards with pictures, such as flowers, landscapes, animals, etc. This would be a great project for both kids and adults! Our goal is to deliver 1,000 cards a month.
Activity Items are also needed – Crosswords/Word Search/Adult Coloring Books
