Residents Invited to Annual 'Parks & Rex POOL PARTY'

From Santa Cruz County: The 4th annual Simpkins Family Swim Center Parks & Rex POOL PARTY is coming August 25th, with this year's end-of-summer bash promising to be the best ever! Your whole family, including your dog, are invited to join in the fun from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Simpkins Family Swim Center. Tickets are on sale now and dogs are always free. Parks & Rex POOL PARTY offers a FUNtastic afternoon of food, drink and music while raising money for Santa Cruz County Parks Department recreation programs and Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter animal welfare programs.

The 50-meter pool will host a variety of activities for adults and children, including inner tubes, Wibit (inflatable play apparatus), Walk-on-Water Balls, stand-up paddle boards, water slide, a climbing wall, and of course - swimming! Adults will have a chance to win some great prizes in the amazing raffle, and enjoy a
massage. Dogs will be invited for a dip in the warm-water pool, take part in some pampering at the doggie day-spa (featuring mani-pedi services), and chow down on some ice cream!

Food offerings include local craft beer, wine, great food (including bbq pizza - vegetarian options available), Marianne's Ice Cream and more.

Advance tickets for the event are $14.50 for adults 21 and older, and $4.50 for youths. Children under 3 and dogs get in free. Day-of tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for youths.
