JUST IN: Stretch Of Hwy 1 Closed Today Due To Tree Hazard
The closure in Monterey County area is in both directions and may last until 5 p.m. [Breaking]

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA – A portion of state Highway 1 in Monterey County has been closed today due to a hazardous tree, according to Cal Fire officials.
The closure will affect all traffic, including residents, in both directions and may last until 5 p.m. from Point Sur Lighthouse to North Coast Ridge Road.
Cal Fire officials said the roadway will reopen when there is no longer a threat to firefighters or the public.
