"The Burger Week concept is simple: Each participating restaurant may offer one or more specially priced burgers but will feature one at either $7 or $10 that is an especially good value. It may be à la carte, or include sides, but the whole point of this event is that it’s an opportunity for local chefs to introduce a new burger or introduce more customers to their favorite or most popular burgers. Burgers may be beef, chicken, lamb, fish, portobello, vegetarian, vegan — or whatever a chef might create."
Burger specials will be posted online at SantaCruzBurgerWeek.com as participating restaurants provide them, and they will be published in the July 19 "Santa Cruz Burger Week" issue of Good Times, available for free at more than 750 locations countywide.
