Santa Cruz Co. Seeks Input on Rentals

The County is asking residents and interested parties to assist by filling out a survey in regards to regulations for hosted rentals.

From Santa Cruz County: The County of Santa Cruz is asking members of the public to help write regulations for "hosted rentals," or short-term room rentals located within a domicile.

To maintain health and safety, neighborhood vitality and compliance with the County's vacation rental ordinance, the Board of Supervisors has directed County staff to create proposed regulations for hosted rentals. The County is asking residents and interested parties to assist this process by filling out a survey on
hosted rentals, available at the following URL: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r...

Survey results will be considered as the County works to draft a hosted rental ordinance, which is likely to include regulations on food service, length of stay, the number of guests, minimum safety requirements, noise, pets and signage.
