Shelters
Shelters are open to county residents at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium (307 Church St.) and the County Fairgrounds (2601 E Lake Ave., Watsonville). However, the Civic is at capacity and the fairgrounds are nearing capacity. Pets allowed under the owner’s control. Behavioral Health is also on site for support.
Emergency Housing
Properties offering special rates to evacuees can be found at the page maintained by Visit Santa Cruz.
Donations
Monetary donations can be made to the Santa Cruz Community Foundation Fire Response Fund. Donations of large, family-sized tents and bottled water can be taken to the Emeline Warehouse, 1082 Emeline in Santa Cruz (rear of the property behind 1080 Clinic). Please refrain from donating other durable goods and food. The County Donation email is eocdonations@santacruzcounty.us, and ways to volunteer.
