'Santa Cruz Gives' Makes It Simple To Click-and-Give Holiday Donations To County Nonprofits
Browse the 33 organizations, donate and help make the community an even better place to live!

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – Santa Cruz County’s first crowdsourcing website for local fundraising, Santa Cruz Gives, launched its second season this week to raise funds for 33 selected nonprofits.
The campaign, which ends Dec. 31, is a one-stop convenient giving site, where donors can go online and view each nonprofit’s mission and projects for 2017 that will be funded with donations. Then go to a shopping cart to easily click-and-give.
The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County, the nonprofit partner of Santa Cruz Gives, led a seven-member committee that vetted projects that cover the county geographically and represent diverse needs: youth, seniors, animals, the environment, health and wellness, food and nutrition, housing and homelessness, arts, and families.

Santa Cruz Gives was founded by local weekly newspaper Good Times in partnership with the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County.
