Description: White or Hispanic male, 30-40 years, black sweatshirt and grey or black pants

Charges: 459 PC-Burglary

INFORMATION

On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Santa Cruz Police Department Officers were dispatched to the Super Silver Jewelry store in the 1300 block of Pacific Avenue for a call of a commercial burglary. Responding officers discovered the front window of the business had been smashed and several items of jewelry had been stolen. Officers searched the business and discovered the suspect had already fled the scene.

At this time, the total loss to the business is still be tallied, but it is estimated to be tens of thousands of dollars.

The Santa Cruz Police Department has collected video surveillance from the business and surrounding areas. An image is attached depicting the suspect. Detectives are in the process of reviewing all video in attempt to identify the suspect or develop any further investigative leads.
