Santa Cruz's Holiday Closure: Planning, Building, And Payment Counter Hours (room 101)

Planning and Community Development Services

Telephone service will be available periodically throughout the closure for building or code-related questions; additionally, phone services will be available on January 2 and 3, 2020 from 8-3pm to provide building inspection information. For life-safety emergencies, call 911.

Payments:

Business Licenses, rents, tax payments, and all payment for building permits and planning applications will be delayed until January 6, 2020. Payments can be dropped off in the drop-box near Room 101; however, cash is not accepted in the drop box.

During the closure, limited inspections are available on the following dates provided the request is made prior to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

  • Thursday, January 2, 2020
  • Friday, January 3, 2020.
