SEE: Car Crashes Into Santa Cruz Home
A driver had a seizure, accelerated to 70 mph, hit a parked car and crashed into a garage.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A car crashed into a Santa Cruz home Sunday after a driver had a seizure and accelerated to 70 mph while driving along Swanton Boulevard.
The driver hit an empty, parked car on the 200 block of Swanton, drove through shrubbery along the property and crashed into the home's garage, Santa Cruz police said. The parked car was propelled onto the home's front lawn.
The driver was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening. No others were injured, police said.

A towing company lifted the parked car off of the lawn and hauled it away.
