See: Fire Destroys Old Home Near Live Oak Red, Blue Trails
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to the surrounding trees.
LIVE OAK, CA — The abandoned home along the Red and Blue trails in Live Oak burned down early Tuesday morning, the Santa Cruz Fire Department said.
Crews received word of a vegetation fire near Chaminade Resort and arrived to find the abandoned two-story home on the lower part of the property ablaze, firefighters said.
The home was completely destroyed, but crews prevented the fire from spreading to the surrounding flora.
