SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA β€” A Santa Cruz man was arrested Monday morning after leading California Highway Patrol officers on a pursuit from Capitola to Aromas, CHP said.

CHP first approached the driver after callers began reporting reckless driving in Capitola.

Officers eventually ended the pursuit after deploying a PIT (pursuit intervention technique) maneuver, CHP said. The car was disabled and apparently veered off of the road, according to photos posted by CHP.
