WHERE:  Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, 1305 E. Cliff Drive Santa Cruz, CA 95062, and Santa Cruz Mountains for night sky viewing

COST: $10 Museum members/$15 general

WHAT: Join community educator and NASA scientist “Cosmic” Joe Jordan for a lecture, discussion and sky viewing. We’ll cover the wonders of the night sky, the basics of observational astronomy, “cosmic ecology” and information on resources and equipment used to view planets, galaxies, nebulae and constellations. Class will begin at the Museum and move to the nearby mountains for sky viewing.
