'Significant Amount Of Cash’ Found In Soquel

SOQUEL, CA — A postal worker who found a “significant amount of cash” while working in Soquel this week did the right thing and turned the money in to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. The worker, identified by authorities as “Amy,” discovered the dough near Hardin Way and Ball Drive.

Amy immediately called the sheriff’s office to surrender the wad of cash for safekeeping in hopes of finding the owner. So far, deputies have not been able to track down them down.
