Snow Possible In Santa Cruz Mountains As Snow Level Drops: NWS
Snow levels are anticipated to be above 1,000 feet, the NWS said in a winter weather advisory.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A winter weather advisory goes into effect at 4 p.m. Monday for the Santa Cruz Mountains. According to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area, a very cold storm system will continue to settle over the Bay Area Monday afternoon and overnight, further lowering snow levels.
Snow already fell over the highest peaks Monday morning, NWS forecasters said, but as snow levels go lower, snow will begin to accumulate Monday afternoon and Monday night.
Forecasters are anticipating snow levels below 1,000 feet for the North Bay, above 1,000 feet for the Santa Cruz Mountains and East Bay Hills, and above 1,500 feet for the Santa Lucia Mountains and Southern Gabilan Range.
