Stolen Comic Books Found In Abandoned Car

A deputy discovered the comic books inside a car dumped in Felton.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the owner of dozens of comic books found in an abandoned car Sunday night. A deputy discovered a box and bag full of comic books inside a car, which was abandoned in Felton after he tried to conduct a traffic stop of the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.

The driver sped away and after a few minutes of searching, the deputy found the car, which was unoccupied, and the stacks of books inside.

Anyone with information about the comic books is asked to call Deputy McKim at 831-454-7620 and reference case 18-03730.
