Suspected Burglary Crew Arrested By Santa Cruz Co. Sheriff's Office

BREAKING: Two women and two men were allegedly in possession of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Sheriff's deputies in Santa Cruz County arrested four people Saturday who allegedly broke into a home and stole property. According to sheriff's officials, two deputies were patrolling the 1100 block of Eureka Canyon Road when they heard a residential alarm.

The deputies checked the residence and noticed a door had been pried open. Then an alert citizen passed by and informed the deputies that he saw some suspicious people exit the creek bed a few hundred yards away from the burglarized home, sheriff's officials said.

Several more deputies responded to the area and detained the suspects. They were identified as Alejandro Vega, Elise Johnson, Carlos Bollanos-Reyes and Briana Lopez, sheriff's officials said. The suspects were allegedly in possession of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia and property that was stolen from the burglarized home.

All four suspects were booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail, sheriff's officials said.
