Suspected Drug Dealer Nabbed By Santa Cruz County Deputies
Michael Rodgers, 57, was booked on multiple felony charges.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A 57-year-old suspected drug dealer was taken into custody Monday by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Enforcement Team.
Around 12 p.m., Michael Rodgers, who was on probation, was in his car near Shaefer Road and Delaware Avenue when deputies spotted him, according to the sheriff's office.
Rodgers and the vehicle were searched. More than 66 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 10 grams of heroin were found, according to the sheriff's office. Rodgers was arrested and taken to county jail.

The next day, deputies searched a storage unit Rodgers used and found an additional methamphetamine stash weighing approximately 1 pound, along with scales, packaging and cash, according to the sheriff's office.
Rodgers is being held at Main jail on multiple felony charges.
