Suspected Shoplifters Found Driving Stolen Car In Santa Cruz Co.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Two alleged shoplifters who were arrested last week are also suspected of driving a vehicle that was stolen out of the Sacramento area, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office reported. Jordan Webb, 24, and Christopher Burnell Kennon, 27, were arrested June 25 in the 2000 block of Soquel Avenue. During the arrest, it was determined the two were driving around in a stolen car.

With the assistance of the Santa Cruz Police Department and its K9, Santa Cruz County deputies arrested Webb and Kennon on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and shoplifting; Burnell was also booked on suspicion of marijuana and open container while driving, arrest records show.
