‘Thousands Of Items Of Jewelry’ Found During Traffic Stop
Do you recognize any of these pieces of jewelry? Authorities in Santa Cruz County believe they may have been stolen.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying the owners of “thousands” of pieces of jewelry believed to be stolen. Authorities said deputies in Santa Cruz County discovered the bags of packaged jewelry during a traffic stop on Jan. 10.
The driver, whose name was not released, was arrested on separate charges during the traffic stop. Deputies confiscated the jewelry and would like to return the items to their rightful owners.
