Toys R Us Burglars Caught On Camera: Sheriff's Office

One suspect can be seen crawling behind the counter and stuffing merchandise into a bag.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA -- Santa Cruz County sheriff's officials are asking for the public’s help identifying a group of suspects who burglarized the Toys R Us in Santa Cruz. Investigators released store surveillance video of the burglary crew as they targeted the store in hopes of identifying some of the suspects.

"Based on the level of sophistication and planning, we are sure other stores have been victims of this crew," sheriff’s officials said.

The burglars were able to leave with more than $1400 worth of merchandise, according to the sheriff's office. Anyone who can identify the suspects in the video is asked to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office tip line at (831) 454-7631.
