SANTA CRUZ, CA — Undercover police officers spotted a 7-Eleven clerk selling drugs in the parking lot of the Mission Street store, Santa Cruz Police Chief Andrew Mills said.
Mills said on Twitter that the officers were patrolling overnight Thursday as part of their burglary suppression duties when they saw Jacob Nicholson participating in a hand-to-hand drug transaction in the parking lot. Officers and K-9 Ryder apparently found drugs and cash on his person, photos posted by Mills show.
Nicholson was on probation, Mills said.
