VIDEO: Vehicle That Plunged Off Cliff Still Missing, Leads Sought

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Information about a vehicle that plunged off a cliff along Highway 1 near Gray Whale Cove State Beach in San Mateo County is still unknown.
A video released by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday (see attached) shows what appears to be a dark-green Lexus SUV driving off a cliff.
According to one witness, the incident occurred Monday around 11 a.m.

Despite search efforts — which had to be halted this week due to dangerous ocean conditions — no vehicle or bodies have been found.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and is asking the public for information. If you or anyone you know has information that might be helpful, call the CHP at 415-407-3741.
