Water Tour: Monterey Bay Salmon & Trout Project Hatchery

Coastal Watershed Council Water Promo

Join the Coastal Watershed Council for a February Water Tour to the Monterey Bay Salmon & Trout Project (MBSTP) fish hatchery located on Big Creek in Davenport. To date, the MBSTP has released over 2 million Coho salmon and steelhead into local streams and attendees will see first-hand how MBSTP is working to enhance populations of these local, native salmonid species. You’ll get a great look at juvenile steelhead, Coho salmon fry, and incubating coho eggs. Space is limited for this tour and RSVP is required. RSVP today by emailing tours@coastal-watershed.org or by calling (831) 464-9200.

This tour will be held on Thursday, February 26th at 1:00 pm.
