Fans anxious to see Splash Bros. 2.0 in action during the preseason will have to wait just a little bit longer.
While the Santa Cruz Warriors do own his rights as a result of a trade with Sioux Falls, an NBA D-League rule states that a player must sign their contract before the draft in order to join training camp. Since Mychel did not, he cannot participate in any preseason games, this according to PR Manager Matt de Nesnera.
Mychel will see his first playing time when the regular season opens Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
The Warriors still have one more preseason game to play this Sunday at home against the Bakersfield Jam. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
