Wind Advisory For Santa Cruz Area
Here's what time the winds will pick up for the day and the predicted wind gusts.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Get ready for a windy day. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory that includes the entire Monterey Bay Area. Expect the strongest winds between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Expect sustained winds of up to 35 mph, and gusts up to 45 mph. The gusts will be strong enough to snap tree limbs, and power outages are also a possibility.
The winds will gradually decrease after sunset.
