Woman Arrested After Throwing Jump Bike Into Ocean: Santa Cruz PD

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A 24-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday after she allegedly threw a Jump bike into the ocean while intoxicated.

Deandra Perez of Delhi, Calif., was picked up by Santa Cruz officers at 115 Cliff Drive after a witness called police.

According to jail records, she was booked on a vandalism charge shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday but was released over the weekend on a $5,000 bond. She is due in court Nov. 12, 2019, according to jail records.
