200 Grams Of Meth Recovered After Santa Monica Drug Deal; 1 Arrested: Police
Authorities recovered over 200 grams of methamphetamine, including one bag weighing more than 150 grams, police said.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Authorities recovered over 200 grams of methamphetamine, including one bag weighing more than 150 grams, after witnessing a narcotics transaction in Santa Monica, according to police.
Officers were patrolling the 1500 block of Palisades Park on June 14 when they saw the transaction, police said.
While investigating, they learned that a person connected to the case had provided false identifying information and had a no-bail probation violation warrant out of San Bernardino County, according to police.

A search led to the recovery of the meth, police said, adding the person was arrested on suspicion of narcotics sales and drug paraphernalia possession and on the warrant.
