LOS ANGELES, CA - One person was injured Friday when a fire that started in a vehicle spread to an apartment unit in the Sawtelle neighborhood in West Los Angeles.
The fire was reported at 6:01 a.m. at 1254 S. Saltair Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Ninety-four firefighters responded and put out the blaze in 31 minutes, a fire department spokeswoman said.
A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but it was not immediately clear if he was taken to a hospital.
The cause of the fire was immediately determined.
