The college faces a structural deficit, shrinking reserves, and unresolved long-term benefit liabilities while working through new labor agreements and enrollment declines, and must now regularly update accreditors on how it will stabilize its budget.
4. AEG Collaborates with Archer to Build L.A. Live Vertiport (labusinessjournal.com) — A new vertiport planned for L.A. Live will anchor Archer Aviation's growing air-taxi network, which already includes a proposed hub in Santa Monica among other Southern California sites. With the 2028 Olympics driving investment, the company hopes its electric aircraft will eventually give Westside residents faster, lower-emission trips to major sports, concert, and airport destinations.
