The Lighthouse Christian Academy Saints came onto the volleyball court ready to dominate, and that is exactly what they did against the Hillcrest Saint on Friday.
From the first serve, Lighthouse showed confidence, energy and determination, quickly making it clear that this was going to be a difficult game for Hillcrest Christian School of Thousand Oaks.
One player who stood out was Bethania Wonagseged, wearing jersey number 9. Every time she stepped behind the service line, she brought pressure to the opposing team.
Her serves were powerful and consistent, making it difficult for Hillcrest to respond and giving Lighthouse more opportunities to score.
As the match continued, Lighthouse kept building its lead.
The Saints played with teamwork, communicating on the court and making smart plays that kept Hillcrest struggling to catch up.
Every serve, pass, and point brought more momentum to Lighthouse, while the gap between the two teams continued to grow.
Bethania's serving became one of the highlights of the match. She helped keep the pressure on Hillcrest and showed how one player's performance can make a major difference in a game.
Her confidence behind the service line reflected the determination Lighthouse brought to the court.
Although both schools carry the name Saints, there was no doubt which team controlled the match that day.
Lighthouse Christian Academy completely outplayed Hillcrest, turning the matchup into a blowout victory and showing the strength of its volleyball program.
By the final point, the Lighthouse Saints had made their statement.
With Bethania's impressive serves and the entire team working together, Lighthouse Christian Academy walked away with a dominant win over Hillcrest.
