Angels at Risk event hosted by Lauren & Jena King with Ted Danson
Honoring and Celebrating the Mission of Prevention Education

Angels at Risk, a nonprofit organization addressing drug and alcohol abuse among kids, teens and families, through prevention education, held a recent reception hosted by Lauren King, Jena King and Ted Danson at the Westside home of Lauren and Richie King.
Angels at Risk was founded in 2007 by adolescent substance abuse and prevention education expert Susie Spain; actor Ted Danson and actress Mary Steenburgen; Jena King, Tom Nolan, dean of Crossroads School; Jesse Sisgold, president and COO of Skydance Media; and Amanda and Chris Shumow. To date, Angels at Risk programs have been involved with nearly 50 schools throughout Los Angeles, reaching thousands of adolescents, families and administrators.
Please note that as activists, our deepest wish is to raise the bar for mental health to be included in the resume of life with everything else through story telling and prevention education in the schools.
