Theme: Habits of Happiness
"Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” (Romans 8:32 NLT)
My mom always says this. Ask and you shall receive. Now I catch myself quoting this verse a lot when something I ask for is given to me, even if it's a comical little thing such as a spoon for my lunch that I forgot. God already knows our needs, but he wants us to ask him for what we need. Only then can we really practice faith that he will provide for us.
Prayer: God, help me turn to you when I see a need and I can't see how it will be taken care of.
Example: I have made it a practice over the years to ask my dad for money and car parts and food, etc. haha, and he gives me exactly what I need and more. Daddy knows best!
Look at this spring chicken looking sprightly this morning!
