SANTA MONICA, CA – The famous Carlo's Bakery, known as the setting of the TLC series "Cake Boss," will have its grand opening for the first California location at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica next month. Master baker Buddy Valastro will be on hand for the 7 a.m. opening ceremony on Nov. 18. When Valastro announced that the bakery was coming to California, he said "I can't believe it."
The 22nd Carlo's location will offer the brand's full menu of signature treats, including cannoli, lobster tail and cupcakes, along with over-the-top custom cakes for all occasions made famous by Valastro on "Cake Boss."
"We're always asked when we'll make it out there and I honestly couldn't be more humbled to say the big day is finally here," he said. "Carlo's Bakery has come such a long way since Hoboken. I'm touched by the outpouring of support and encouragement we receive from fans to grow the business. I know my father would be so proud. I just want to give everyone a little piece of that Hoboken magic and I'm so thrilled that Santa Monica is the next stop on our journey."
