I am thrilled to announce the kick-off of our second annual “Let’s Send Hunger Packing” summer food drive, in partnership with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, to feed hungry children in Los Angeles and Orange Counties!
Shockingly, almost 700,000 children in Los Angeles County and 1 out of 5 children in Orange County are at risk of being hunger every day. Those statistics are even more heart breaking in the summer when many children loose access to their school sponsored one meal a day. That’s why we have once again joined forces with Coldwell Banker to host a summer food drive competition.
Coldwell Banker offices in LA County and Orange County are competing to collect the most food donations for their local food bank. The Los Angeles County Coldwell Banker offices’ donations will benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the Orange County offices’ donations will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. NorthStar Moving will award the winning offices, one in each county with their choice of either lunch for their entire office or a $1000 donation in their name to their regional food bank.

The battle to raise the most food donations begins TODAY and runs through August 15. Last year we raised 4,556 pounds of food and this year we are looking to surpass that. So please join us in making sure every child has enough to eat every day by bringing non-perishable food items to your local Coldwell Banker office or NorthStar Moving headquarters. You can help your local office win and send hunger packing!
