Death At Palisades Park Sparks Police Investigation

SANTA MONICA, CA — Santa Monica Police are investigating a death at Palisades Park Monday morning.

According to authorities, a man who appeared to be in his 40s was found dead at the park near the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Broadway and the Broadway stairs. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner/Coroner is working to determine the cause of death, police said.

The Santa Monica Police Department said the deceased is possibly homeless, but he has an associated address in Los Angeles.

Additional information will be provided after further investigation is conducted, SMPD said.
