Elderly Woman Last Seen In Santa Monica Found Safe In Pasadena

The 79-year-old was found three days after she went missing.

SANTA MONICA, CA – An elderly woman who was last seen in Santa Monica before going missing was found in Pasadena and safely returned to her family, police said Friday. Jo Ann May Roth, 79, was reported missing after she was last seen about 9 p.m. Tuesday at a Chevron gas station at 1732 Lincoln Blvd., near the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and Olympic Boulevard, police said.

"Thank you all for your support!" LAPD wrote on Twitter after announcing Roth was found.

When she went missing, the Los Angeles Police Department announced her description: white, 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 125 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was driving a silver 2014 Honda Accord sedan.
