Downtown Santa Monica Inc.'s second annual “Cinema on the Street” series continues with the animated comedy Rio (3D), made by the creators of the Ice Age films.
Free movies will play weekly on Fridays in July on the , so bring a blanket or beach chairs.
The movie screen will be between Wilshire Boulevard and Arizona Avenue, just outside of Chipotle. Movies begin about 7:30 p.m. The time is dependent on the sunset.

Parking is available in downtown parking structures. Cars entering after 6 p.m. pay a $5 flat rate.
