Come out and show your support for the more than 200 injured veterans and their supporters as they cycle through their seven-day, 450-mile cycling journey with the Ride 2 Recovery Golden State Challenge presented by UnitedHealthcare. The community is invited to welcome the riders as the finish their day at Santa Monica Pier.
Ride 2 Recovery, a 501(c)3, helps injured veterans improve their health and wellness through individual and group cycling. Cycling has proven to be a catalyst in the
recovery process by providing a new physical challenge while concurrently helping to cope with mental challenges. The Golden State Challenge Ride will begin on October 2 from Rockaway State Beach in Pacifica, and arriving on October 8 at the Pier.
