The 2011 Arthritis Walk at the Santa Monica Pier

The Arthritis Walk is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature event that takes place in communities nationwide to raise funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation’s number one cause of disability. The registration opens at 7:30 a.m. followed by the opening ceremony at 8:30am, then 8:45 a.m. the walkers will warm up. At 9:00 a.m. the walkers are off on either a one or three mile path until 11:00 a.m. Afterwards, Arthritis Walk Village will open for the festivities to begin. There will be live entertainment, a Kids Zone, activities, refreshments and food.  The walkers will meet at the Santa Monice Pier Lot One North.
