Hiker Rescued From Remote Area Of Topanga State Park
A man fell ill while hiking, requiring an air rescue.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A man who fell ill while hiking in Topanga State Park was rescued Wednesday, authorities said.
Around 11 a.m., firefighters were coordinating a ground and air response to reach the hiker, who was on a remote section of the Trailer Canyon Fire Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. A paramedic was lowered to the man to provide aid and firefighters intended to hoist him to a helicopter and take him to a hospital.
