We all know what happened after Amy poured her heart out to her diary about her undying 9th grade love for Jay Stone and how badly she wished he’d ask her out. Nothing much, really. But what if Amy got the courage to talk to him at school? What if he liked her back? Or ignored her then made out with her secretly?!!!
At Improv Diary Show, you get to find out as three BRAVE people read their teen diaries. Their DIARIES! And improvisers turn their sacred teen dreams into hilarious nightmares. BOOM!
That’s right, the past is back. And training bras, heartthrobs and beer bongs live on…
Some of our diarists have famous credits and some have famous diary entries! Previous and upcoming readers have graced the small screen, the big screen and all the other screens, stages, catwalks and more as actors, comedians, improvisers, writers, directors, composers, musicians, editors, models, location managers and the list goes on. They’re also super courageous parents, teachers, coaches, neighbors, REGULAR PEOPLE bearing their raw souls!
But if you insist, we’ll shout out some fame: Epic Rap Battles of History, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Comedy Central’s Not Safe With Nikki Glaser, Penn & Teller: Bullshit, Chapelle’s Show, Henry Danger, Family Guy, American Dad, CSI, The West Wing, Robert Altman’s O.C. and Stiggs, Mission IMPROVable, John Candy: Comic Spirit, Ford models and MORE!!!
Come witness the vulnerability and teen madness of our next show...
With, OMG, these readers:
Pei Pei Chung – Film, TV and commercial composer for Disney, Fox, NBC, Discovery, Sundance, FXM Retro and more; projects include E! Denise Richards, BET’s Next, Emmy-nominated Endurance and Kevin of the North. Before that, she was a biologist! And before that, came her diary, hopefully revealing secrets behind that awesome transition.
Shoshana Kuttner – Actor, dancer, improviser, acting coach, theater producer/director/sound designer of almost fifty productions! Director and co-founder of Young ACTors Project, a wonderful nonprofit for kids and teens. But with her diary, expect something Emily Dickinsonian.
Paula Montondo – Musician, writer, songwriter, producer, location manager and creator Mermaid Space Station. Back in Nashville, as assistant mixing/engineer, projects included Amy Grant, Billy Ray Cyrus, Johnny Van Zandt, Etta James! And back in Scandinavia, as exchange student, activities included writing in her diary.
