Little Change to Southland Gasoline Prices

Gas prices drops one-tenth of a cent after rising for the past two days.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.589 after rising each of the past two days.

The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 17.7 cents lower than one month ago and 21.8 cents below one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price rose a half-cent Saturday and three-tenths of a cent Sunday after dropping for 30 consecutive days and 65 of the previous 66 to its lowest amount since Dec. 27, 2011.
