The average price rose a half-cent Saturday and three-tenths of a cent Sunday after dropping for 30 consecutive days and 65 of the previous 66 to its lowest amount since Dec. 27, 2011. — City News Service

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum presents the 15th annual Linda and Tony Rubin Lecture program <a href="https://www.ushmm.org/online-calendar/event/wcpubp10426" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">“Antisemitism Then and Now”</a> on Thursday, April 30, at 6 p.m.
Holocaust history has the power to teach diverse audiences to think critically about the dangers of unchecked antisemitism. Museum historian Dr. Daniel Greene will explore the relationship between conspiratorial thinking and antisemitism, going back to its origins. He will focus on a notorious and widely distributed propaganda tool, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” and how it continues to be used to spread antisemitism around the world today. 
Linda and Tony Rubin, dedicated supporters of the Museum since 1994, will open the program with remarks. Their annual Rubin Lecture has consistently brought thought-provoking discussions on Holocaust history and education to audiences in the Western Region.
“We are deeply grateful to Linda and Tony Rubin for their enduring commitment to Holocaust education and for making this important annual lecture possible,” said Carol Stulberg, the Museum’s senior advisor for leadership giving in the Western Region. “Their leadership continues to bring critical conversations to our community at a time when understanding antisemitism has never been more urgent. We are honored to welcome Dr. Daniel Greene, whose research and experience helps illuminate how antisemitism has evolved and why confronting it—through education, awareness and historical truth—remains essential today.”
The Museum’s Western Region encompasses the 10 western states, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Since opening in 1993, the Museum has welcomed more than <a href="https://www.ushmm.org/information/press/press-kits/united-states-holocaust-memorial-museum-press-kit" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">50 million visitors</a> from all over the world, including more than 120 heads of state.
